Protecting & raising awareness for the Monarch butterfly, through interactive educational talks within schools. Monarch Butterflies are the doorway to nature & connection with the magical world.
Join us for a fun and informative evening where we will discuss how you can establish a butterfly garden in your garden or school. This will be a great evening and is a must-attend event for gardeners and teachers that would like to enhance their school gardens and have an area dedicated to attracting bees and butterflies or simply want to know more about raising Monarch butterflies at home or in the classroom.
This event a gold coin donation, which will go towards Avebury House and their community gardens.

Helen English, Vice President of the Christchurch Hobbyist Beekeepers’ Club
Cathy Baker – Founder of Guardians of Rawihiti Domain. Cathy will talk about the decline of wildlife in the Domain and how we can all help make it thrive again.
